Das Büro ist die Kontaktstelle für ausländische Hochschulpartner, sorgt für die institutionelle Unterstützung von Kooperationsvereinbarungen und Partnerschaftsabkommen und betreut ausländische Gäste.

Minerva International Summer School 2010 is a new initiative and runs for the first time in the summer of 2010. The MISS 2010 creates an excellent ambience within which participants can test their abilities and learn new skills and different approaches to making art. Practical studio work in small groups is supported by talks and reviews that enables students to contextualise their artistic progress.

For whom?
For professional artists and art students over 18 who wish to do a specialist course in Life Drawing in an international setting, within the special atmosphere of a distinguished School of Fine Art and Design.

The programme
Students will work from observation at first and later on they will be encouraged to develop more ways of perception. For example to integrate sensory experience, memory and imagination into the creative process. Our aim is that you will look back on your Summer School experience as a time of artistic stimulation and personal fulfilment.

Costs
The costs will be around € 600 per person per course. This includes basic materials.

When?
The MISS 2010 Course Programme runs from 16 to 21 August.

English language
The language of instruction is English. All students should have a reasonable proficiency in the English language in order to fully benefit from the courses.

Extra
During the Life Drawing course, and in the vicinity of the academy, the Noorderzon festival takes place. ‘Noorderzon’ is a famous open air performing arts and music festival, with free access to many of the performances. The festival runs from 19 August to 29 August.
