International students are always welcome.

A course catalogue can be bought in the library at the beginning of each semester. The annual exhibition "Einblick/Ausblick" at the end of the summer semester is open to the public and presents student projects of the whole preceding year.

There is no tuition fee at our Academy. Only a semester contribution of approx. 100EUR has to be paid.

This covers student services and public transport (KVG).

Working material has to be paid for by the student.

All our classes take place in German. However, most lecturers and students speak English as well.
German language courses are offered at the University of Kiel (CAU) for free and at the Adult Education Center.

Cost of living
The average cost of living is 600 EUR per month plus cost for materials in the respective courses. The rent for a room can be calculated 150EUR– 400EUR. 

Student Halls
Looking for a place to stay in a foreign country is not always easy.

The Housing Department is offering advice and support. One of their services is to provide accomodation for students at a reasonable price.

Students will need an insurance during their stay in Germany. You should optional check with your home insurance company to see if they provide service for a stay abroad or contact an insurance at one of the legal health insurances here(e.g. AOK) or get a complete travel-coverage at SITE (Services for International Travel and Education).
