The methods and the media which artists use to carry out their work need to be
precisely placed and calculated in order to bring about the desired effect.
As part of this training, the study of sculpture consists of the development of
a specific sensitivity for the visual-haptic. This includes mastering and
refining the media in question, which for the most part must first be specially
prepared and produced: in its form, treatment, material, space and time. This
includes materials, smells, colours, lights, objects as well as structures or
the spatial relationships to be considered.
Traditional art practices as well as openly structured
involvement, participation and events are conceivable.
The idea becomes the centre of artistic innovation.
