The Study of Function, Concept and Realisation

Learning and training is determined by the critical understanding of the function, the role and effect of spaces, buildings, objects and cities. Criteria such as historic development, type, integration, economic viability and realisation etc are trained in the BA courses.
In the MA courses, "Institution" and "Program" are examined for their meaning and significance with respect to their cultural and social context. Concepts for different functions and new fields of design are developed from this analysis. In this way, locations are determined and contexts are created. The formulation of concepts according to a specific context and their use in spatial settings and staging goes beyond the standard levels of body-room-building-city-landscape.
