Studying at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule

Since the winter semester of 2005/2006, it has been possible to study Fine Arts, Communication Design, Industrial Design and Interior Design as a six- semester study course to acquire a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.). As of the winter semester of 2008/2009, these courses will also be offered as four-semester Master of Arts degree courses (M.A.).

The Diploma in Architecture will no longer be offered. First semester students were accepted for the last time in the winter semester of 2003/2004.
The course curriculum ends in the summer semester of 2007, the final diploma examinations will be held in the summer term semester of 2008.

Students studying for the diploma degree courses in Fine Arts, Industrial Design and Communication Design (Diploma at the University of Applied Sciences) were accepted for the last time in the winter semester of 2004/2005.
The course curriculum ends in the summer semester of 2008, the last diploma examinations will be held in the summer semester of 2009.
It is no longer possible to apply for a diploma course of studies.
However, at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule, it is possible to change to a higher termsemester of a bachelor degree.
